About The Give Camp FUnd

The Give Camp Fund is a scholarship granting program sponsored by Camp Louemma, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. For over 75 years, Camp Louemma operated a children’s resident summer camp dedicated to providing children of the NY, NJ, PA and CT areas with a transformative camp experience designed toward enhancing physical, social and intellectual growth. Its longstanding mission was to provide children with an opportunity to make lifelong memories and friendships, connect with their Jewish identity and learn through daily living, responsibility, confidence and self-reliance.

In 2018, the camp facility was sold but Camp Louemma, Inc. continued in furtherance of its mission by establishing a scholarship grant program, The Give Camp Fund, with the purpose of providing financial and scholarship assistance directly to select partner camps that meet or exceed Camp Louemma’s original core values and aspirations. It is still our paramount goal to help children build self confidence, enhance their connection to their Jewish identity and, of course, enjoy nature through the spirit and wholesomeness that can only be experienced at summer sleepaway camp.

For many years, our motto was "A summer of fun... a Lifetime of memories!" However, these days, in asking for and encouraging your help and support we prefer to say "Give Confidence. Give Friendship. Give Camp!"

Camp Louemma, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization registered in the State of New Jersey, meaning your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Tax ID# 11-1661356.
